Surbhi Navratra Garba Mahotsav is widely regarded as Nagpur's best and most famous Garba, drawing thousands of devotees every night of Navratri along with prominent figures from the city's cultural, business and civic circles. What sets it apart is the scale of the Chattarpur Farms grounds, live dhol and orchestra, professionally managed lighting and sound, and a family-friendly atmosphere with dedicated parking, food stalls and security. For nine nights, it is where Nagpur comes to celebrate.

Yes. Surbhi Dhoom Dandiya 2025 was last year's edition of the same celebration at Chattarpur Farms. The 2026 edition is Surbhi Navratra Garba Mahotsav.

Surbhi Garba has been held at Chattarpur Farms for several years, growing from a community gathering into one of the city's largest Navratri celebrations.

The nine nights are a mix of Garba and Dandiya, with live music every night and a DJ Garba set on Mahanavmi. Personal dandiya sticks are not encouraged for security reasons, and sticks longer than 35 cm are not allowed.

No. Surbhi Garba closes on Mahanavmi night, Monday 19 October. Vijayadashami falls the following day, Tuesday 20 October.

Every night belongs to a different form of Maa Durga and carries her colour. Dressing in the colour of the night is a much-loved part of the celebration, but it is not compulsory. Traditional Indian attire in any colour is welcome.

Gujarat's Dakla Queen, Pooja Kalyani, performs live on all nine nights. On Mahanavmi, 19 October, DJ Chetas brings an exclusive DJ Garba set.

Live performances begin shortly after gates open, once a reasonable crowd has gathered, and continue through the night.

No. Passes must be booked in advance online. No tickets are available at the venue.

No. There are no separate group booking rates.

Passes can be transferred to family and friends within the TicketWings app. Commercial transfers are not allowed, and a pass becomes strictly non-transferable once its QR code is generated.

No. Passes are non-refundable under any circumstances, other than if the event is cancelled because mandatory government permissions are denied, and in that case refunds are processed at the organisers' discretion. Internet handling and convenience charges are never refundable.

This is a wristband-only event. Your booking is exchanged for a wristband, and entry is not permitted without a valid one.

No. Wristbands that are lost, damaged or tampered with are not reissued or honoured, and entry will be denied without a valid wristband. Please keep yours on and intact for the night.

Children below 10 years enter free, accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children aged 10 and above need a pass.

An Aadhaar card issued by the Government of India must be produced at entry. Any other photo ID is accepted only at the organisers' discretion and may delay your entry. Entry is strictly subject to the Terms of Entry.

Surbhi Garba is a Hindu cultural festival, celebrated as a devotional and traditional gathering rather than a commercial dance event. As set out in the Terms of Entry, entry is restricted to Hindu devotees at the absolute discretion of the organisers, and the organisers reserve the right of admission even for valid pass holders. Entry is strictly subject to the Terms of Entry.

No. Bags, backpacks and handbags are not permitted, and there is no storage or cloakroom facility at the venue. Please carry only what fits in a pocket: your phone, your keys and a card or some cash. Anything that cannot come in with you will have to stay in your vehicle.

Prohibited items include bags and backpacks; alcohol, cigarettes, tobacco, e-cigarettes and any banned substances; outside food and drink, except baby food; professional cameras, GoPros, drones and recording devices unless expressly authorised; sharp objects, arms, ammunition, fireworks, lighters, chemicals, sprays, perfumes, deodorants and helmets; and pets or animals.

Yes. All visitors and their belongings are subject to frisking and security checks. Refusing a check means entry will be denied, without a refund.

Re-entry on the same wristband is not permitted.

Dandiya sticks are permitted but not encouraged. Only wooden dandiyas are allowed, up to a maximum length of 35 cm and one pair per person, without steel balls (ghungru), chimes or any metal objects.

Harassment, violence, unsafe dancing or disorderly conduct results in removal from the venue without a refund, and may invite police or legal action. Any damage to venue property is recovered from the person responsible.

Yes. Surbhi is a traditional celebration and traditional Indian attire is the only dress code. Come in your festive best.

Chaniya choli, saree, kurta-pyjama, dhoti-kurta, kediyu and similar traditional Indian wear are all welcome.

Western casual wear is not permitted: jeans, t-shirts, shorts and revealing outfits are all prohibited. Decency in dress and behaviour is expected at all times.

Yes. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove, anyone not dressed in keeping with the cultural and devotional decorum of the festival. Please plan your outfit before you book.

Wear something comfortable that you can dance in for several hours, and avoid high-heeled shoes and sandals.

Yes. General parking is free. Reserved and VIP parking can be booked at an additional cost. All vehicles are parked at the owner's risk.

Yes. The Surbhi food court brings together several food and beverage partners, including Panino, Corridor Seven Coffee Roasters, Chennai Chowpatty, Co.So, Ras Kunj, Caelio, Riddhi Siddhi, SIP-EAT, Bombay Shree Nath, a Gujarati farsaan counter, a fresh fruit counter and several others.

No. Outside food and drink are not permitted, with the exception of baby food.

The food court is entirely vegetarian, and farali options are available for visitors observing the Navratri fast.

Stalls accept prepaid coupons purchased at the venue.

No. Alcohol, cigarettes, tobacco and e-cigarettes are strictly prohibited, both to bring in and inside the venue. Anyone found intoxicated will be expelled from the event and will face legal or regulatory action.

Yes, personal photos and videos on your phone are welcome. Live streaming and videos longer than 30 seconds are prohibited.

No. Professional cameras, GoPros, drones and recording equipment are not permitted unless expressly authorised by the organisers.

Yes, possibly. Entering the venue means you consent to being photographed, recorded or filmed by the organisers, and to those images and videos being used across all media without compensation, as set out in the Terms of Entry.

Aarti is performed every night at 8.30 PM.

Yes, absolutely. Plenty of people learn on the floor, and the circle is a forgiving teacher. Come early on one of the first few nights, when the floor is a little easier to find your feet on.

No, we do not hold Garba classes or workshops, but several Garba classes across Nagpur are listed on TicketWings.

Proceeds from Surbhi Garba support several social causes, including donations to the National Cancer Institute, the Chief Minister's Relief Fund, Go-Seva for cow welfare, Adarsh Jeevdaya Kendra, the public dispensary run by Shri Maheshwari Yuvak Sangh, and Deendayal Thali community meals run by Shri Salasar Seva Samiti. The distribution is led by O.J. Agrawal Charitable Trust and L7 Group.

In effect, yes. Every pass contributes to the causes Surbhi supports; that is what Seva hi Dharam means to us. Your evening of Garba quietly becomes someone else's treatment, someone else's meal, someone else's relief.

A pass is a ticket to an event rather than a donation receipt, so it is not eligible for 80G. Direct donations to our trust are handled separately; please visit ojagrawal.org.

The celebration goes ahead in light rain. In the event of heavy rain, the schedule may be adjusted for everyone's safety, and announcements will be made at the venue and on our Instagram.

The event may be curtailed, postponed or cancelled in circumstances beyond our control, such as natural calamities, strikes, curfews, government orders, fire and technical failures. Refunds or rescheduling in such cases are at the sole discretion of the organisers.

The organisers' decisions regarding the event are final and binding, and all disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra.
